Assistant Director (AD) Independent Film Production * Assisted the Director in planning, organizing, and executing film production from pre-production through principal photography. * Coordinated daily shooting schedules, call sheets, scene breakdowns, and production timelines to ensure an efficient workflow. * Worked closely with the Director, Producer, DOP, Production Designer, and other departments to communicate creative and logistical requirements. * Helped coordinate cast and crew, ensuring everyone was informed about call times, locations, scenes, and shooting requirements. * Managed on-set activities and helped maintain the planned shooting schedule while addressing delays and production issues. * Assisted with location planning, location visits, equipment coordination, and preparation for upcoming shooting days. * Participated in script discussions and scene planning to determine production requirements and ensure scenes were properly prepared before filming. * Maintained communication between departments during shoots and helped ensure smooth transitions between scenes and setups. * Supported the Director during rehearsals and takes, helping coordinate actors, crew, props, wardrobe, and set requirements.
