At 21, I was chosen from more than 100 applicants to translate the script for a 30-episode television series produced with UNICEF. I translated all 30 episodes on short deadlines and delivered every one on time, adapting as the scripts were revised after each block of 10 episodes. It taught me how to keep tone and terminology consistent across a large, changing project, and how to work fast without letting quality slip. It was competitive, high-pressure, and a real proving ground for professional translation.
