Can you read lips from any video?
Not every video is suitable for reliable lip reading. Camera angle, resolution, lighting, distance, facial visibility, motion blur, and occlusion can affect the analysis. Please send your footage before ordering so I can assess its suitability.
Do you provide a transcript of the lip reading?
Yes. Depending on the footage quality, I can provide interpreted speech with timestamps, speaker labels, and notes indicating areas that are unclear or uncertain.
Do you analyze the video frame by frame?
Yes. I carefully examine relevant sections frame by frame to assess mouth movements, facial positioning, timing, and other visible speech cues.
Can you analyze CCTV footage with no audio?
Yes. Silent CCTV and surveillance footage can be reviewed for visible speech and mouth movements when the speaker's face is sufficiently clear.
Can you identify what multiple people are saying?
I can analyze visible speech from multiple speakers when their faces and mouth movements are sufficiently clear. Speaker labels can be included where practical.
Can you guarantee an exact lip-reading result?
No. Lip reading from video is inherently limited, especially with poor-quality or obstructed footage. I document what can reasonably be interpreted and clearly identify uncertainty rather than presenting speculation as fact.
Can you provide a professional report?
Yes. The report can include timestamps, observations, interpreted speech, speaker references, relevant limitations, and other findings based on the footage provided.
Is my footage kept confidential?
Yes. I handle client-provided footage professionally and confidentially and only use the files for the agreed analysis.
