Sou um músico profissional com mais de 25 anos de experiência, multi-instrumentista. Comecei estudando leitura e escrita musical, saxofone, trombone e percussão na orquestra da escola. Depois, ainda jovem, comecei a estudar instrumentos elétricos: guitarra, baixo, teclados e bateria. Como é definido o preço da transcrição?
Vou levar em conta principalmente a dificuldade instrumental e a variedade, além da qualidade da mixagem/gravação. O comprimento não é o fator mais importante aqui, porque é mais fácil transcrever 5 minutos de folk tocando do que 2 minutos de metal shredding.
Quão detalhados são os transcrições deles?
Tenho orgulho de criar anotações que capturam as nuances de cada performance. Como músico, entendo o valor da articulação: slides, linhas legato, acentuação staccato, palm mute, slap; tudo isso e muito mais será representado na transcrição.
Que software você usa para transcrição?
Eu uso Guitar Pro 8, que me permite criar tabs e anotações de vários instrumentos em formato PDF. Também posso exportar arquivos MIDI, arquivos de áudio e, claro, arquivos para outros usuários do Guitar Pro (8 ou versões anteriores).
