Sobre mim
I’m Johan Robertsson—a published author and editor with a background in journalism, marketing, and creative writing.
For almost two decades, I’ve worked with stories in every form, from ad copy to full-length fiction. Today, I specialize in helping authors refine their manuscripts through detailed, constructive feedback that strengthens story, style, and clarity—without compromising their unique voice.
As a writer myself, I know the value of constructive criticism. My approach is analytical, kind, and practical—so that every note you receive is actionable.
Let’s make your story shine.

Product Marketing Specialist
Aug 2023 - Apr 2025 • 1 yr 8 mos
As a Product Marketing Specialist, I used my skills in storytelling and copywriting to market services for Sweden's second largest provider of funeral and legal services. I was part of the company's expansion into the field of therapy, and focused on the customer journey from digital advertising to customer satisfaction follow ups.
Customer Support Agent
Apr 2021 - Aug 2024 • 3 yrs 4 mos
As a Customer Support Agent for Sweden's second largest provider of funeral and law services, I helped more than 10.000 clients match with our trusted consultants. During this period, I was tasked with setting up our new support desk and improve our customer journey, which included the authoring of hundreds of articles for both internal use, and customer facing support. I pride myself on the work me and my team put in to communicate everything from the intricacies of the company's custom CRM-system to how to better approach, ensure, and communicate with clients who often faced sensitive or precarious situations. This work honed my communication skills, and made me realize how much connection plays a part in written communication, wether it's corporate copy—or literary writing.

I hired Johan for a developmental edit of my memoir. I didn’t know what to expect and when I received his 40 page report, my emotions went from nervousness to excitement. Johans ability to understand my story from so many perspectives is clear. His ability to execute such a report with guidelines for...

Johan was a fantastic beta reader and his in line commentary was very helpful for giving me an idea of what sort of “gut reaction” my story gave. He was very reasonable in finding a package that worked for my specific needs. When I made a mistake in my story upload that I needed to correct, he was very...

His editing and review of my manuscript was better then I thought to say his communication was sporadic , but that was due to prior commitments that meant he had a temporary busy schedule outside of work. I am happy with the work and service they provided and would gladly hire them again.

Johan's a pro! He thought my manuscript was pretty close to complete and so didn't fill the pages with small details he didn't believe in just to fill the pages. Instead, he used the Save the Cat method to discuss the story beats to show me that my somewhat experimental, back and forth structure was...
