I will give you my custom made Unity Mecanim Third Person Basic Controls for PC,Mac,Linux Standalone.
Animations include
Walk Forward
Walk Backward
Strafe Right
Strafe Left
Fire
I used Raycasting for firing.You can easly get tag and start making game.
You can apply this controls to any rigged character.
This package also has extra mecanim rifle animations which will be used.
