After many years working across product and service organisations, I started Vicron Tech to create space for experimentation, learning, and long-term product building. My goal is to build useful software, explore interesting ideas, and focus on challenges where careful thinking, strong engineering, and pragmatic delivery make a meaningful difference. While pursuing those interests, I continue to work with organisations on selected engineering, architecture, and technical leadership challenges, particularly where experience can help bring clarity to complex problems and accelerate delivery, while keeping risks in check. Current areas of interest include AI systems and foundation models, AI-native software delivery, developer tooling, fintech platforms, cloud-native systems, regulated APIs (Open Banking, MTD), and the process of identifying, validating, and building new software products. --- Client Work: * Client: Count Ltd (Record OS) - https://www.record-os.com/ * Built the Making Tax Digital (MTD) capability end-to-end for Record OS's tax-reporting product. * Owned the full delivery lifecycle – problem discovery, scoping the complete MTD remit, and breaking it into milestones aligned with HMRC's Minimum Functionality Standards. * Integrated iteratively with HMRC's MTD APIs, coordinating directly with HMRC's developer team, and built the corresponding frontend for the end-to-end user journey. * Evaluated possible open banking partners and delivered manual bank statement imports, as a precursor for automated book-keeping, transaction categorisation (Yapily) and MTD reporting.

Our services processed more than £118 Billion in cross currency volume in 2024 with over 2.5 million transactions per day. * Proposed and built anomaly detection + reaction mechanism to reduce the financial exposure from incidents to the tune of more than 9 million GBP for the company per year. * Built backoffice tooling in React + Typescript, enhancing operational efficiency in reconciliation. * Supported the annual audit process for our domains, and closed the findings on time. * Built disaster recovery process and tooling for the mission-critical services. * Automated regular maintenance and upgrades by building custom gradle plugins. * launched From ARS, To MXN and To COP routes by integrating with various banking partners. supported existing routes of To PEN, CLP, CRC and UYU with changing KYC/Compliance requirements and operational requests. * Hired and onboarded 4 engineers, facilitated internal movement of 2 senior engineers. * Groomed senior engineers to staff levels, fostering a culture of excellence. * Drove the initiative to build a long term vision and a roadmap for the partner integration domain, to improve reusability and reduce toil across multiple engineering teams. The goal was to reduce costs and time to market. * Cultivated culture of making data driven decisions in prioritising tech debt, scaling and risk challenges.
