I accept Microsoft Word (.docx) and Google Docs files, as these allow me to add inline comments and reactions directly to the margins of your text. If you only have a PDF, please message me first so we can arrange the best approach.
Is beta reading the same as proofreading or copy editing?
No, beta reading focuses on the big picture: plot structure, pacing, character arcs, worldbuilding, and reader engagement. While I will point out recurring issues if they distract from the reading experience, this service does not replace line-by-line proofreading or grammatical editing.
My manuscript has a word count not covered by your packages. Can you still help?
