Collaborate with Operations, other management teams, and technicians to prioritize scheduled and emergency work orders to hit 3.5% Site Unplanned Downtime, 1.5% Equipment Downtime, and 72.4% True Efficiency (TE) goals in our 10 site processing lines and over 114 packaging lines that generate over $1MM in product revenues per day. Accountable for 1st shift operations of 12 technicians in one of Texas's largest food and beverage manufacturing plants, focusing on processing and packaging distribution areas. Utilize SAP to supervise all work completed, including working with the maintenance technicians on predictive maintenance (PM) protocols and practices to ensure a successful weekly production line start-up. Lead the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability, streamline changeovers, employee training, and improve production efficiency while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

Research presented and published at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Studied the effects of nanofibers in masks to control thermal conductivity inside the facemasks. Successfully improved the efficiency of virus protection of non-surgical facemasks using Polycaprolactone. Tested the effects of stimulus-responsive polymers on commercial face masks. Identified masks that perform best after an extended period of use to reduce heat using thermal imaging Examined thermal changes and properties of a wide range of masks using Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) Successfully published work in the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Repository.
