Designed and developed a premium Squarespace portfolio website for Maldives Events, a company specializing in resort events, corporate functions, festive celebrations, and destination experiences across the Maldives. The objective was to create a clean, highly visual platform that would showcase past events while positioning the brand as a leading event provider in the region. The website was structured around visual storytelling, allowing visitors to explore projects through dedicated portfolio pages featuring photography and video content. A major focus of the project was usability and long-term scalability. The site was built with an easy-to-manage content management system, enabling the client's team to independently add new events, update galleries, and maintain content without requiring technical assistance. The website was also optimized for mobile devices, ensuring a seamless experience for resort teams and event planners who primarily browse on smartphones. In addition, foundational SEO was implemented, including optimized page structure, metadata, image optimization, and search-friendly URLs to support long-term visibility in search results. The final result is a modern, premium website that strengthens the client's online presence, showcases their work effectively, and provides a scalable foundation for future growth.
