Song was thoughtful and engaged with the manuscript and I appreciated her perspective on the Black-coded characterisation and colonial themes. Her report also included some helpful observations about representation, physical description, and reader response :)

I am grateful for Song Marshall's insight into the many characters and plot points of my story. I have a clearer idea of what to emphasize and what to tone down in my story to make it accessible to audiences.

I asked for a sensitivity read of my 80k-word romance/chick lit novel, and Song's delivery was excellent. She was proactive in her communication, and sent both a detailed sensitivity report (including helpful resources) and an in-line annotated copy of my manuscript . I would be happy to work with her again!

Truly enjoyed working with Song. Gave great feedback faster than expected. This is my first time have one of my pieces edited, so I was super nervous. She was polite in providing edits and critiques. Very grateful, I would absolutely work with her again.
