I’m Birk, an international documentary filmmaker and founder of The Movie of Life. Since 2019 I travel the world producing high-end biopics for families who want to preserve their history.

Since 2018, I have been building The Movie Of Life and directing cinematic legacy documentary films. I work with international clients, capturing real life stories with cinematic depth, emotional authenticity, and a clear directorial vision. Most of my clients are from the United States, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

From 2016 to 2019, I worked in a professional video studio as a videoographer, handling camera operation for a wide range of productions. I was also responsible for post-production, including editing, color work, and overall visual storytelling. In addition, I worked in live directing, coordinating camera teams and managing real-time productions. These years were fundamental in shaping my technical precision, visual instinct, and understanding of how to lead both studio and live environments with clarity and responsibility.

After providing guidance on the number and pace of photos, my finished video was done faster than promised. Communication was fast, even with time zone issues. Minor edits were quick and easy. All in all, I'm happy to share this video at the memorial service.
