Designed and implemented computer vision pipelines for the characterization of physical objects using image and 3D data. Developed Deep Learning models: * Implemented diffusion models for synthetic texture generation. * Fine-tuned pre-trained models for image segmentation tasks and integrated them into transformer-based cascaded architectures. Designed and implemented 3D processing algorithms: * Developed LiDAR point cloud registration algorithms for orientation correction and 3D object alignment. Defined experimental measurement protocols and evaluated model performance using appropriate Machine Learning and Deep Learning metrics. Built and annotated experimental datasets (images and 3D data) for model training and validation.
