In my role supporting a family-run private hire business, I handheld a wide range of administrative and digital tasks to keep daily running smoothly. My responsibilities included managing bookings, scheduling jobs, updating calendars, and communicating with clients in a professional and timely manner. I regularly handled phone enquiries, organised travel details, and ensured all customer information was recorded accurately. I also supported the business with digital marketing and social media management. This involved creating content, writing posts, updating profiles, and maintaining a consistent online presence to attract new customers. I designed simple promotional materials, managed messages, and responded to customer queries across platforms. Alongside this, i carried out general admin duties such as data entry, document organisation, email management, and maintaining clear records. This role strengthened my communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. It also developed my confidence in customer service, problem-solving, and managing both digital and operational tasks independently.
