I've traded stocks for 8 years, mostly momentum and price action. I build my own Python research tools, and most of the strategy ideas I test don't survive proper testing. That's why I focus on backtesting. I test on separate data with realistic costs, and I tell you plainly whether your strategy holds up or not. You get a clear verdict, not just a pile of charts. I also build simple valuation models for listed companies from public filings. I don't give investment advice.
