Oi. Meu nome é Susanne. Como uma leitora ávida com paixão por histórias, eu leio cerca de dois livros por semana. Embora na maior parte do tempo eu tenha lido ficção literária e clássicos, nos últimos anos tenho me inclinado mais para romances e ficção de gênero. Passei minha vida trabalhando no mundo da arte nos Estados Unidos e atualmente estou fazendo meu mestrado em história da arte na Suécia.
Meu processo de leitura beta tem duas etapas.
1. Uma leitura direta, como eu leria qualquer livro.
2. Uma leitura detalhada com comentários inseridos ao longo do texto. Aqui, foco em partes onde achei a escrita confusa, cenas que demoraram demais, finais muito rápidos e qualquer coisa que me faça voltar atrás ou sair da história. Também fico de olho em:
- Simpatia pelos personagens, construção, desenvolvimento e consistência
- plausibilidade da ação e das cenas, continuidade
- Enredo e ritmo
- Construção do mundo
- Consistência do tom e do ponto de vista
- Linguagem leve: sintaxe, ortografia e escolha de palavras
