I am a Full Stack Developer at VisionX, where I built AI Recruiter — a multi-tenant, AI-powered SaaS hiring platform that also served as my Final Year Project. This gave me my first real exposure to taking a product from idea to production-shaped system. I built a full hiring pipeline: companies could post AI-assisted job descriptions and receive applications through a public, no-login flow including resume upload and video introductions. AI handled resume screening, video transcription (without storing raw video, for privacy and cost), and skill assessment evaluation. Recruiters managed everything through a real-time dashboard with analytics, team roles, and billing. The stack was Next.js, PostgreSQL with Prisma, Google Gemini, and Cloudflare R2 — decisions I researched, justified, and sometimes reversed after deeper analysis. The biggest lesson was learning to think in systems, not just features. A Build vs. Buy analysis my manager pushed me to do — deciding which features genuinely needed AI versus plain logic — changed how I approach every feature since. I also learned the difference between code that works and code that's correct: early on, I had login functioning but no validation layer or edge-case testing. Being sent back to properly test failure cases and verify results directly in the database instilled a discipline I now apply everywhere. Beyond code, I practiced multi-tenancy design, cost analysis at scale, and formal documentation — an FYP proposal, SRS with numbered requirements, and architecture diagrams. By the end, I'd completed authentication, job posting, the candidate application pipeline, AI resume screening, secure assessments, and interview scheduling — each built through consistent planning, specification, and real testing.
