I'm an award-winning theatrical sound designer with more than two decades of experience.
When I became a dad and went to see my kids at dance recitals and ice skating events, I was shocked at how poorly-edited much of the music was. These kids and their teachers had put their hearts and souls into creating beautiful performances, but the way the music was edited took the audience out of the moment and detracted from the performance.
It became my mission to rid the world of performances with badly-edited music!

Why do you do this?
As a theatrical sound designer, I edit music a lot. And I really like doing it (yeah, I'm weird)! I do a lot of complex editing and cue sequences for theatre, so editing music for recitals and routines is a piece of cake in comparison. That's how I can do it quickly and at a great price!
Why do you want me to send you the music audio file(s)? What format do you want them in?
There are often so many different versions of songs that I want to make sure I use the right one for your project. Either send me the audio file itself (any common format such as MP3, WAV, AIFF, etc. is fine) or a link to a youtube video of the exact version of the song you want.
What do you need to know from me?
Please tell me the minimum and maximum run time you need the music to be. If you are ordering anything other than the Basic package, please give me as much detail as you can about the edit points (including minute and second marks for the cuts, which sections to keep/remove, etc.
What's the difference between the "Basic" and "Standard" packages?
With the Basic package, you tell me how long you need the music to be and I make my own editing choices to fit that time. With the Standard package you get to choose where the edits are. With Basic you still get a free revision, though, so it's a great value.
What if I don't see a package that matches my needs?
If you don't see a perfect match for your needs, or you're not sure which one is right, just message me! I'll be happy to discuss your needs and match you up with the right package for you, or design a custom order for you.
I just need one song edited to fit a length. Which package should I pick?
A lot of the orders I get are to cut and edit just one piece of music. Either the Standard or Basic package are made for this kind of project. The only difference between the two is that with Basic I choose the edit points, and with Standard, you pick the edit points.
I need all the songs tempo matched, and beats, sound effects, voice drops, etc. added. Can you do that?
Absolutely! I love working on these types of projects (cheer, hip hop, pom workout mix ,etc.). However, delivering you an awesome finished mix with all these elements added takes a lot of extra work and time, and therefore is a gig extra. Please select the appropriate gig extras when ordering.
I want you to create an original dance track for me, not edit one. Can you do that?
I can do that! Select the basic package, and then add the "Original Dance Track" gig extra. If you need a track longer than one minute, add multiples of the gig. For example, if you need a 2:30 length, select three of this gig extra. After you order I will reach out to discuss the track with you.
What's the difference between Basic and Standard Packages?
With the basic package, you provide me detailed instructions on where to place the edits, with approximate time stamps. With the Standard you just tell me the min and max length and I figure out where best to place the edits.
