Perguntas frequentes
Why should I contact you first even if I don't have any questions?
I suggest you contact me first because I want both of us to be on the same page while we work together to weave your novel or story to perfection. This would also prevent any disappointments for either of us in future. Also, this ensures I have enough space in my pipeline for your project.
What if my work falls in the mid-range wordcount?
Please contact me for a custom quote with your exact word count, brief overview of your story (2-3 sentences) and the package you're interested in.
Do you provide chapter by chapter beta reading?
I offer this kind of WAY more in-depth feedback in my developmental editing gig where I do documentation of my real-time thoughts and reactions. You can use this to gauge the emotional graph of your reader's state of mind. Please contact me for the same!
Can you answer my questionnaire about each chapter and/or my novel?
Yes! I offer this as a gig extra. For an additional $20, I will answer a special questionnaire of 10-15 specific questions (prepared by you) about your novel in as much detail as possible.
Will you correct my grammar and provide spelling check also?
No, this is a beta reading gig only. Editing and proofreading are available in a separate gig. I also provide discounted pricing if you require multiple services. Please contact me for a custom quote :)
What genres do you accept? Do you take non fiction?
I accept almost all fiction works; be it mainstream genres like fantasy, thriller, romance or selective peices under literary fiction. In non fiction, I only take up certain subject areas. Please contact me to check if your topic is suitable for me.
Do I need to give you prior trigger warnings for anything?
If your book has gory violence or graphic sexual assault scenes, then I would like a trigger warning please. I won't refuse to read your work, I just need to know in advance that something like this will be coming up.
