I help researchers, authors, publishers, journalists and cultural organisations work with Chinese sources and contexts. My main focus is source tracing and verification: difficult publications, citations, bibliographic records, databases, local gazetteers, institutions and archival leads. I also transcribe and identify modern and historical Chinese texts, including traditional and literary Chinese, and provide research-led localization, cultural fact-checking and source-based guidance for projects involving China.
