Worked as a Senior Mechanical CAD Designer supporting the development of functional mechanical components and production-ready product designs. My responsibilities included converting concepts, sketches, reference parts, and technical requirements into accurate parametric 3D CAD models using SolidWorks and Fusion 360. I developed individual parts, complex assemblies, detailed manufacturing drawings, and prototype-ready files while considering tolerances, material selection, assembly methods, machining limitations, and design-for-manufacturing principles. I also reviewed existing designs to identify potential fit, strength, clearance, and production issues before manufacturing. Projects involved preparing STEP, STL, DXF, and native CAD files for prototyping, CNC machining, and supplier review. My contribution helped improve design clarity, reduce unnecessary revisions, and provide manufacturers with more complete engineering documentation for reliable production.
