Independent Eastern-tradition tattoo design practice, working with clients worldwide. What I do: Design custom tattoos in two Chinese traditions: ink wash (shui mo), loose and breathing, and fine line baimiao, clean contour work that ages well. Verify every Chinese character before drawing it - what it means, what it connotes to a native reader, and why it beats the alternatives. Clients get that reasoning in writing alongside the design. Start from the client's story rather than a reference image. A ten-question interview turns a person, a loss or a turning point into the concept. Deliver a five-file package: transparent PNG, white-background PNG, JPG, a stencil sheet the tattoo artist can transfer directly, and an SVG vector, all print-ready at 300 DPI. I built the studio's production pipeline myself: a four-axis style system (baimiao, ink wash, woodcut, seal script), a story-to-concept framework, and a selection process where most candidate drafts are rejected before anything reaches the client. I use AI image generation as a drawing tool and say so openly - the story work, character research, cultural reading and final selection are mine. I also produce short product videos for e-commerce brands - script, voice over, captions and music - in 15, 30 or 60 second cuts.
