- Review, edit and/or write your Artist Bio or About Me to meet any required criteria as well as an engaging experience for your reader
What can you expect from me:
- All editing and proofreading will be conducted by me, Shannon
- Thorough and descriptive edits and written text to meet all applicable requirements
- Ability to ask me questions at any time during the process
- Option to provide feedback as requested
- Opportunity for multiple revisions
What I need from you:
- A resume, CV, or outline of the information you feel is the most important for your reader to know about you and your practice
- Any applicable links or materials about you, your work, or previous exhibitions
- If the Artist Bio or About Me is required for an exhibition, institution, application please include the link to the program and their requirements for Artist Bios
- If the About Me is for website please provide any previously constructed personal marketing materials
I have personally worked with individual artists and arts institutions for over 5 years helping them share their story and practice!

What experience do you have with writing and editing Artist Statements?
I hold a B.A. and M.A. in Art History leaving me skilled in academic and detailed writing about art and artists. My focus in on contemporary art where I have worked personally with artists, curators, and museums helping them create Artist Bios for exhibitions, residencies, and personal websites.
What is your academic background?
I studied Art History for my undergraduate degree and received my Masters in History & Theory of Contemporary Art.
