Hi, I'm a scriptwriter and script strategist. Before writing, I map where a viewer might lose interest, then build the script to hold attention past that point.
Most scripts skip this step. The slow open, the mid video lull, the moment there's no real reason to keep watching. I find those risks first, then write around them. Same approach whether it's horror, comedy, YouTube, business, or documentary.
