• Cut annual compute spend by ₩1B through resource usage analysis and infrastructure optimization: right-sizing requests and limits from DataDog metrics and HPA scaling history, automating off-peak and promotion-window scaling, migrating the fleet to AWS Graviton (ARM), and adopting Karpenter Consolidation • Introduced Istio service mesh and cut annual network cost by ₩200M: migrating all 120 services with a purpose-built Python automation tool, moving ingress from ALB to NLB, enforcing mTLS on internal traffic, minimizing cross-AZ traffic with locality routing, and bringing routing control inside the cluster • Led capacity planning for Black Friday 2024 with zero downtime: pre-sizing pod counts for 120 services from historical metrics and setting hourly scaling policies, supporting a record ₩140B in GMV • Operated Prometheus/DataDog observability and CI/CD pipelines, and served on the on-call rotation
