was contracted by Finder’s content and growth team to help improve their newsletter strategy using Beehiiv for a niche publication focused on personal finance, fintech tools, and money tips for young professionals in Australia. Finder already had strong website traffic but wanted better newsletter engagement, retention, and referral growth. My role was to set up and optimize their Beehiiv newsletter so website readers could turn into long-term subscribers. I created a simple 5-email onboarding sequence that introduced new readers to Finder’s top financial guides and comparison tools, while also encouraging them to refer friends interested in personal finance. Within four months, the newsletter grew from 5,800 to over 24,000 subscribers. Open rates increased from 33% to 49%, click-through rates improved by 37%, and the referral system generated more than 2,400 additional subscribers.
