Accurate and professional Daylight & Environmental analysis for your designs.
Services can include Sun & Shadow studies, Sun-path analysis, Overshadowing and Right of Light study. I am able to offer extensive daylight calculations - daylight factors, Spatial Daylight Autonomy (sDA), Useful Daylight Illuminance (UDI) etc.
Environmental studies will include Radiation and solar gain analysis, façade and shading design, glazing performance, sunlight hours and solar potential of site and buildings. These analyses can be used as part of LEED, WELL, BREAAM and DGNB reports.
I will be using the latest scientifically validated software and local climate data to perform these studies.

I am working as a daylight specialist & senior lighting designer in London. I had been a research fellow & lecturer, teaching lighting science & daylight at the University of Wismar, where I was also involved in research into public lighting - looking at improving the quality of public lighting to achieve environmental, economic & social sustainability. Previously I worked as a daylight design specialist & lighting designer in Berlin, Germany. I completed my Ph.D. on the subject of Daylight in retail places from the University of Stuttgart.
