NOTE: I DO NOT USE AI
Wherever you are in your writing journey, whether you've just finished a draft or you're preparing to publish, I'll help you turn your manuscript into the book you meant to write.
I'm a published author with Simon & Schuster and have completed over 500 orders on Fiverr, editing fiction and nonfiction: novels, memoir, self-help, business, and spiritual books. I hold a BA in Rhetoric and Professional Writing and a Master of Teaching, and I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto. I've also worked as a creative ghostwriter for the app Lure.
My edits respect your voice. I strengthen whats already there instead of rewriting you into someone else.
I will edit your book for issues with:
-Spelling
-Grammar
-Sentence Structure
-Plot Development
-Character Development
-Tenses (Ensuring Consistency)
-Tone/Voice
-Narrative Style
Writing a full-length novel or nonfiction book? Most of my clients' manuscripts run 50,000 - 120,000 words, and I edit books of any length. Packages start at 15,000 words. Just add extra words at checkout, or message me for a custom quote.
I will provide you with two copies: (1) A Tracked Changes Copy, and (2) A Clean Copy.

Inglês

Perguntas frequentes
What qualifies you as a pro seller?
Pro sellers are hand-vetted by Fiverr, and only 1% of sellers are awarded this title based on quality of service, experience, and background. As a published author, English teacher, and PhD candidate, I bring a unique perspective that combines the academic realm with the creative one.
My manuscript is longer than 15,000 words. Can you edit it?
Absolutely! I edit books of any length. Just add extra words at checkout (sold in 5,000-word blocks), or message me with your word count and I’ll send a custom offer.
You have many orders in queue. Do you still have time for my order?
I absolutely do! I'm usually quite flexible with my delivery times, and can try my best to work around your deadlines and schedule. Message me and we'll figure something out :)
Can you format my manuscript?
Unfortunately, I don't offer formatting, as this is not my area of expertise. That being said, I will focus on paragraph breaks in a developmental edit since this improves overall flow and readability.
I don't need a developmental line edit. Do you offer simple proofreading?
Yes! Pricing for proofreading is different. Please message me for a custom quote based on your word count.
Can you provide me with a sample edit?
Sure! I will provide you with a 2-page sample edit before you place an order to ensure you are satisfied with the work and that we're a good match.
Can you re-write a manuscript?
Yes! If you want a re-write instead of an edit, message me and we can work out a deal. Please note that a re-write will be more expensive.
My manuscript is in UK English, US English, or AUS English. Can you still help me?
Yes! Although I am most knowledgeable in CAD English, I always conduct the needed research to ensure your manuscript is written according to the language style you're after.
Are you a native English speaker?
Yes! I was born and raised in Canada!
Do you use AI?
Nope! I don't use AI to edit your text. I don't believe an AI Chatbot can achieve the same effect as a human editor in transforming your manuscript.
