I lead the Legal Affairs function at ACE Money Transfer, an FCA-regulated global payments group, managing legal, corporate governance, company secretarial, contracts, and data protection matters across the UK, EU (Ireland & Poland), Canada, Australia, and Pakistan. I manage dedicated teams across the Contracts, Company Secretarial, and Data Protection units. My work spans the full contract lifecycle — drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, vendor contracts, partnership arrangements, and SLAs — alongside legal advisory support on risk, transaction structuring, and pre-litigation dispute resolution. I coordinate with external counsel across jurisdictions where required. On the governance and cosec side, I maintain corporate records, oversee board and shareholder documentation, and manage statutory filings for multiple group entities. I also lead data protection and privacy compliance aligned to UK GDPR and EU standards, and manage the group’s global IP protection strategy. Internally, I work closely with Compliance, Finance, HR, Operations, Marketing, and Product to standardise legal templates, embed best practices, and keep the business commercially agile while remaining legally sound.
