Perguntas frequentes
1. What types of Squarespace domain issues can you fix?
I can resolve a wide range of issues, including domain connection errors, DNS misconfigurations, SSL certificate problems, nameserver setup, email DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM), subdomain configuration, domain transfers and websites showing as unavailable after a domain change.
2. What do you need from me to get started?
Please provide your Squarespace website URL, your domain name, the name of your domain registrar (such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, Cloudflare, etc.) and a brief description or screenshot of the issue. If account access is required, I will explain the safest way to share temporary access.
3. How long does it take to fix DNS or SSL issues?
Many issues can be resolved within a few hours. However, DNS propagation is controlled by the internet and may take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours. I'll complete the required configuration promptly and keep you informed throughout the process.
4. Will my website experience downtime during the fix?
My goal is to minimize or completely avoid downtime whenever possible. If any interruption is expected due to the nature of the issue, I'll let you know beforehand and perform the work carefully to reduce any impact.
5. Can you help if my domain is registered with another provider?
Yes. I work with domains registered through providers such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, IONOS, Porkbun, Hostinger, Wix, Network Solutions, Google Domains (Squarespace Domains) and many others.
6. Do you also fix email issues caused by DNS changes?
Yes. If your email stopped working after changing DNS settings or connecting your domain to Squarespace, I can restore the necessary DNS records, including MX, SPF, DKIM, and other required configurations to get your email working again
7. What if my issue is more complicated than expected?
No problem. Every situation is different, so I'll first diagnose the root cause and explain the best solution before making any changes. If the issue falls outside the original scope, I'll discuss the available options with you before proceeding there are no unexpected surprises.
