I began my professional legal career in 2004 with Shaheen Enclave Company, where I started as a Legal Drafting Assistant and gradually took on independent responsibility for corporate documentation and compliance support. During my time with the company, I worked closely with senior management, external advocates, and foreign consultants to prepare, review, and maintain a wide range of corporate and commercial legal documents. My core responsibilities included drafting and revising Partnership Agreements, Shareholders’ Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs), Service Agreements, Vendor & Supply Contracts, Employment Agreements, Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and IP Assignment Clauses. Over the years, I prepared hundreds of customized agreements, often revising the same document multiple times to reflect negotiations between shareholders, partners, and investors. I was also involved in corporate structuring and compliance documentation, including Articles/Certificate of Incorporation, Company Bylaws, Board Resolutions, Share Transfer Deeds, Capital Contribution Schedules, Amendment Agreements, and Corporate Record Books. I assisted in preparing SEC-related corporate paperwork for foreign clients, such as Form D support documents, compliance checklists, shareholder registers, and disclosure summaries, ensuring alignment with regulatory and contractual requirements (non-advisory role). At Shaheen Enclave, I helped standardize document templates, reducing drafting time while improving legal clarity. I independently drafted 50+ shareholder and partnership agreements, 100+ NDAs and service contracts, and supported dozens of incorporation and restructuring files. My work required precision, confidentiality, and coordination with international stakeholders, giving me hands-on exposure to foreign legal drafting standards despite being based in Pakistan.
