What kind of websites can you scrape?
I can scrape most websites, including static HTML sites and dynamic sites requiring JavaScript rendering (using tools like Selenium). However, complexity varies. Sites with heavy anti-scraping measures require more advanced techniques.
Is web scraping legal and ethical?
It depends on the website's robots.txt file, Terms of Service, and the nature of the data. I prioritize ethical scraping, respecting website rules and focusing on publicly available data.
What happens if the website structure changes after delivery?
Websites change frequently, which can break scrapers. While I build robust scripts, future changes are outside the scope of the initial delivery. I offer ongoing Maintenance Plans as a Gig Extra or separate service to keep your scrapers running smoothly.
What format will I receive the data in?
Common formats are CSV, Excel (XLSX), and JSON. Let me know your preferred format. Database integration can be discussed as a custom requirement.
I don't know any coding, how will I use the script?
Using the script in most cases won't require coding knowledge, It can be in a form of exe. I can provide video solutions for installation and usage of the script and ensure client comfort
Can you create Python scripts for tasks other than web scraping/automation?
I also develop custom Python scripts for various needs like data processing from files, building utility tools, complex calculations, working with APIs (beyond basic integration), or creating small standalone programs. If you have a specific Python project, feel free to ask!
