What's the process?


  1. Conceptual Drawings: Basic 2d set with plans, views, elevations, and 3d renderings. The goal at this stage is to confirm the right size, identify the style, and place doors and windows. 
  2. Construction Drawings: This is the build-to set of drawings. A complete 2d set with all the drawings needed for construction. foundation, floor, walls, roof, and siding.
  3. Detailed Drawings: This set delves into drawing details of the rake overhang and eaves
  4. Windows and Doors: If you want to build your own doors and windows.
  5. Full Materials and Cutting List: A final material list is prepared, and a cut sheet is produced


Note: #2 to #5 can be added individually as extras of the basic package.

    John was very responsive and communicative. However, my shed project was complicated -- with a cathedral ceiling and dormers -- and the design had significant technical errors. Based on what I received, I'm sure he'll do a reasonable job for a simpler project, but for something complicated, it would be best to pay extra for a structural engineer.
