I began my proofreading journey while attending a reputable college. Before I was hired, I felt confident that I was one of the candidates deserving of selection. During that time, I worked hard to keep myself grounded, even though I was just starting out. I consistently read books and conducted research to enhance my skills and improve my foundational knowledge. Two years later, I found a pace that worked well for me. During that time, I regularly attracted new clients and started to notice an increase in my income as my journey progressed. I decided to expand my expertise by attending training sessions to gain a deeper understanding of what proofreading truly entails. There were many sleepless nights when I completed my tasks in the evening and attended training in the morning. To my surprise, my income began to double compared to previous years. I was thrilled, and it significantly changed my career path, allowing me to focus on the work I truly enjoyed. Now, in my eight years as a proofreader, I hope to share the skills I've developed with clients I can collaborate with. Thank you so much!
