Perguntas frequentes
Can my team use mobile apps?
Yes. I configure a dedicated Coturn server, ensuring that encrypted chat and video calls work reliably on iOS and Android across all network types.
Where is our data stored?
100% on your infrastructure. Whether on a NAS (QNAP/Synology) or a Private VPS, you retain absolute ownership of all messages, files, and encryption keys.
Can we communicate with external Matrix users?
Yes. Matrix supports Federation, allowing your team to securely message external partners while maintaining your own @user:matrix.org identity. This can be disabled for total isolation.
How is our data protected against server failure?
I implement Automated Disaster Recovery pipelines. Regular snapshots of your database and media ensure that your entire communication history can be restored rapidly if hardware fails.
What are the infrastructure requirements?
For a professional team environment, I recommend a minimum of 2 vCPUs and 4GB RAM. Using SSD storage is highly recommended to ensure high-speed message indexing and zero lag.
