I currently teach an adult student from New York, aged 28, who works a full-time job but has a deep passion for learning the Quran. Despite being a beginner and still working on his recitation, he shows genuine love for the Quran and for the people connected to it. Due to his demanding work schedule, he occasionally needs to take a leave, but he always informs me in advance with respect for our sessions. He has been learning with me since August 2025, and he originally connected with me through Fiverr before continuing his lessons consistently. Alongside recitation, he also studies Quran translation and short explanations (Tafseer) to deepen his understanding of the meanings behind what he recites. This experience reflects my ability to teach working adults with limited time, accommodate their schedules professionally, and go beyond recitation to include translation and basic Tafseer for a more meaningful learning experience.

I taught two sisters from Sweden, aged 7 and 10, whose mother was highly involved and supportive throughout their learning journey. The younger sister was learning the Noorani Qaida, building her foundation in the basic rules of Quran recitation, while the elder sister was progressing in Quran reading itself. Both were struggling learners at the start, requiring extra patience and a customized teaching approach for each of their levels. What I enjoyed most about teaching them was their genuine curiosity — they frequently asked thoughtful questions about Islamic concepts, which made our sessions engaging and meaningful. This experience strengthened my ability to teach multiple students with different skill levels simultaneously, adapt lessons for young learners, and nurture their interest in understanding Islam beyond just recitation.

I taught another dedicated student from the United Kingdom for 2 years. When we began, he was not yet fluent in Quran recitation, but he applied the rules of Tajweed correctly and showed clear dedication and consistent effort in every lesson. What impressed me most was his exceptional discipline — he was never late to a single class, and his punctuality inspired me to improve my own time management as a teacher. Working with him was a mutual learning experience; his consistency and commitment taught me as much as I taught him. This long-term teaching relationship reflects my ability to nurture steady progress in students and adapt my teaching based on each learner's individual pace and personality.
