Do you offer sample edits?
Yes! Sample edits are free, and are capped at 1,000 words.
How do you perform edits while preserving the original author voice?
My role as an editor is to support you in your writing journey, not change your writing beyond recognition. All of my edits are performed in tracked changes, and you are welcome to ignore my suggested changes! At the end of the day, you are the ultimate authority when it comes to your manuscript!
Do you edit in UK or US English?
Both! I am Canadian, and we are very familiar with switching between UK and US English
Do you end using the Chicago Manual of Style or Oxford Guide to Style?
Both! I have experience working with both style guides and I am happy to edit to whichever standard the author prefers.
