During my tenure as a DevOps Engineer Intern at DevOps Insiders, I actively contributed to automating cloud deployment pipelines, managing infrastructure, and optimizing system reliability using modern DevOps tools and practices. Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments: 1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Cloud Provisioning: • Automated the provisioning and lifecycle management of Microsoft Azure cloud resources using Terraform. • Designed, built, and maintained modular and reusable Terraform scripts for multi-environment deployments (Dev, Staging, and Production). • Implemented secure state locking and backend storage using Azure Blob Storage to enable seamless team collaboration. • Reduced manual provisioning errors and decreased infrastructure setup time by over 70%. 2. CI/CD Pipeline Automation: • Designed and configured automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. • Integrated version control repositories with automated pipelines for seamless code integration, testing, and continuous deployment. • Standardized build and release stages, ensuring high-frequency, zero-downtime application updates on Linux environments. 3. Containerization & Orchestration: • Containerized multi-tier applications using Docker to ensure environment consistency across Development and Production. • Configured NGINX web servers and deployed containerized workloads on Linux servers. • Leveraged Kubernetes (Azure AKS) to orchestrate containerized applications, writing YAML manifests for Pods, Services, and Deployments. 4. Monitoring, Observability & Support: • Implemented end-to-end monitoring and alerting infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor. • Created customized Grafana dashboards to track server health, pipeline status, and application metrics in real-time. • Actively troubleshot server issues, resolved Linux system bugs, and debugged CI/CD pipeline failures to maintain high uptime.
