I have been working as a freelance Cost Estimator with Prime Facade, where I specialize in quantity takeoffs, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and development of detailed material schedules. My role also involves applying value engineering techniques to optimize project costs while maintaining design intent and quality standards. Through this work, I have developed strong knowledge of façade materials available in the construction industry, including the ability to evaluate and recommend suitable options by comparing their durability, lifecycle performance, and cost implications. I have also had the opportunity to work as a Quantity Surveyor on projects for companies such as Samsung, Beko, and Infinix, where I was responsible for carrying out quantity estimation for product display installations. Through the consistent delivery of accurate quantities and well-structured, professional documentation, I contributed to expanding the company’s project reach across East Africa and Europe. This was achieved by enhancing the clarity, reliability, and presentation of cost reports, enabling better decision-making and increased client confidence.
