Conducted a full simulation and optimization study of the LPG treatment and fractionation process using Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus. Diagnosed a propane non-conformity issue on the deethanizer column and validated the process model (AARD% < 5%). Developed and compared two optimization scenarios, selecting the most profitable solution based on technical and economic analysis (CAPEX, payback period, annual gains). Produced a complete technical report and defended the project before an academic and industrial jury.
