One of my recent clients was launching a new jewelry collection focused on elegant and wearable everyday pieces. Their goal was to create designs that looked premium while still being practical for manufacturing and comfortable for daily wear. The main challenge was converting their reference images and concept ideas into accurate CAD models while maintaining proper proportions, stone settings, and production feasibility. Some designs also required adjustments for different finger sizes and center stone dimensions. To solve this, I created precise 3D CAD models in Rhino, ensuring correct stone seats, balanced metal weight, and structures suitable for casting. I also maintained regular communication with the client to confirm design details and provided realistic renderings for approval before production. In the end, the designs were approved successfully and were ready for manufacturing with minimal revisions. The client was very satisfied with the quality of the designs and the smooth workflow.
