Coaching is a proactive process between coach and client. You can expect to be engaged in activities that will help you to achieve your goals in new or innovative ways.
Does coaching have to be a long process?
The coaching relationship’s duration is dependent on the client and their confidence to proceed without coaching yet maintaining success.
Is it like therapy?
Coaching, while very helpful mentally and emotionally for the client, it is very much different from therapy. Therapy is typically problem-focused and extensive to help individuals with mental health issues. Whereas, coaching is solution-focused and specific goal-oriented.
