As a freelance CAD designer on Fiverr, I completed a project involving the design of a mechanical assembly for an automated packaging system. The client provided only a rough sketch and a short video reference, requiring full reverse engineering. A major challenge was estimating accurate dimensions and ensuring proper interaction between moving components without complete specifications. I solved this by developing a parametric model in Fusion 360, allowing iterative adjustments during the design process. Another issue was interference between rotating parts, which I corrected through motion analysis and clearance optimization.
