I once worked with a newsletter creator who already had something many people struggle to build good content. The problem was that the publication itself wasn't quite keeping up with the quality of the content. The account needed to be organized, the newsletter presentation needed more consistency, and the publishing process needed to feel easier instead of becoming another task the creator had to worry about every time they wanted to send something. I started by looking at the publication from a new subscriber's point of view. If someone discovered the newsletter today, would they immediately understand what it was about? Would the publication feel trustworthy? Would the different posts feel like they belonged to the same brand? From there, I worked through the Substack setup, newsletter presentation, formatting, and publishing workflow. I also tried to make the system easier to maintain going forward. I didn't want to create something that looked good once and then became difficult to manage. That experience taught me that newsletter management isn't just about publishing posts. The behind-the-scenes setup matters because it affects both the creator's workflow and the reader's experience.

SHOPIFY GEMPAGES PRODUCT PAGE SPECIALIST

A Shopify seller came to me because their standard theme wasn't giving them enough flexibility to present their product the way they wanted. They had the product photos, the copy, and the information customers needed, but the page still wasn't telling the story properly. I decided not to start by asking, “What section should I build next?” Instead, I looked at the customer's journey. Someone landing on this page probably didn't know the brand yet. They needed to understand the product quickly, see why it mattered, find enough information to feel comfortable, and then know exactly what to do next. I used GemPages to build the page around that journey. I worked through the hero section, product benefits, supporting information, trust-building sections, FAQs, and CTAs, while keeping the overall design consistent with the store. One thing I paid particular attention to was not making the page feel overloaded. E-commerce pages can easily become a long collection of “features” that nobody actually reads. This project taught me to ask a better question when designing a landing page: “What does the customer need to understand at this exact point?” That question has become a big part of how I approach Shopify page design.

SHOPIFY REPLO LANDING PAGE DESIGNER

One of the Replo projects I really enjoyed started with a client sending me a landing page they wanted to recreate for their Shopify store. At first, it looked pretty straightforward , just rebuild the page and make it look like the reference. But once I started looking at it properly, I realized there was more to it than moving sections around. The reference page had a very deliberate flow. The hero section introduced the offer, the next sections answered questions a new visitor would probably have, and the CTAs appeared at points where the customer was more likely to be ready to take the next step. Even the spacing and image placement affected how the page felt. So instead of treating it like a simple copy-and-paste job, I broke the page down section by section and rebuilt the experience in Replo around the client's own brand and content. I also spent time checking the mobile version because I’ve seen too many landing pages look great on desktop and fall apart on a phone. That project gave me a much better understanding of what makes a Replo landing page actually work not just look good.
