I work as an independent DevOps and cloud engineer for startups, agencies and growing businesses. Clients bring me a problem (slow or manual deployments, unstable servers, rising cloud bills, broken automations) and I deliver a working, documented solution they fully own. What I've delivered for clients: - Deployed web apps, APIs and AI apps to AWS (ECS, EC2, Lambda) and Google Cloud Run, with HTTPS, autoscaling and sensible cost limits - Built GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines that test, build and deploy on every push, replacing manual SSH deployments - Set up staging and production environments with blue/green or canary releases and one-click rollback - Containerized client applications with Docker (lean, non-root images with health checks) - Moved secrets out of .env files into AWS Secrets Manager and Google Secret Manager, and replaced long-lived cloud keys with keyless OIDC logins for CI/CD - Hardened VPS servers with firewalls, SSH-key-only access, fail2ban and automatic security updates - Added monitoring, uptime checks and alerts so problems are caught before customers notice - Built automated, encrypted, offsite backups and tested restores for every setup - Installed and self-hosted n8n on client VPSs with Docker, SSL, PostgreSQL and backups - Fixed self-hosted n8n errors (webhooks, lost credentials, full disks, crashes) and upgraded clients safely to n8n v2 with a rollback plan - Built custom MCP servers that connect Claude to client APIs and databases, with read-only access, scoped permissions and audit logs - Reduced client cloud bills through right-sizing, scaling limits and budget alerts How I work: clear scope up front, regular updates, and a full handover at the end with a walkthrough, documentation and runbooks, so the client's team can run everything on their own.
