Started my freelance web development career in 2018 after completing my BSc in Computer Science and have continued working with businesses and clients on website development and technical solutions. My freelance work has included developing WordPress websites for restaurants, local businesses and other organisations, as well as creating and maintaining websites based on individual client requirements. Projects have included custom WordPress development, responsive websites, business websites, restaurant ordering solutions, WooCommerce, PHP, MySQL, Elementor, APIs, website migrations and technical troubleshooting. I have also worked on websites involving domain, DNS, SSL and hosting configuration, and provided ongoing maintenance and technical support where required. Over the years, my freelance experience has expanded from building websites to solving more complex technical requirements, including custom functionality, integrations and WordPress development. I focus on understanding the client's requirements, solving the underlying technical problem and delivering practical, reliable solutions.

WordPress Plugin Developer

Worked as a WordPress Plugin Developer for a software company specialising in shipping and delivery solutions for WooCommerce and WordPress. My work focused primarily on developing, maintaining and enhancing shipping-related WordPress plugins, including integrations with major shipping providers such as UPS, USPS, ABF and other delivery services. Responsibilities included updating existing plugin code, implementing new features, fixing bugs and resolving compatibility issues based on individual customer requirements. I also developed custom supporting plugins and solutions when a customer's requirements could not be achieved through the existing plugin functionality. This role provided extensive hands-on experience with WordPress plugin development, PHP, WooCommerce, APIs, shipping integrations, custom functionality and troubleshooting real-world e-commerce requirements.
