Nov 2021 - Present • 4 yrs 11 mos
Leading the design and implementation of scalable cloud-based data platforms for international clients. I architect and build automated data pipelines across AWS and Azure environments, working with tools such as S3, Glue, Airflow, Databricks, and SQL-based warehouses. My role focuses on building reliable ingestion systems, clean transformation layers, workflow orchestration, and performance optimization. I also oversee debugging and stabilization of complex ETL workflows, implement monitoring strategies, and ensure production-ready deployments using structured engineering practices. In addition to hands-on development, I guide architectural decisions to ensure long-term scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency for growing data systems.

This is the 2nd project I have worked with mlordjames on and he has done a great job so far. Very knowledgeable and has fixed both my problems when it comes to fixing a few of our web scraping processes. Would highly recommend him. Very thorough work.

James did a fantastic job recovering a lost process for us. We needed him to reimplement a scraper that was built in our AWS on an EC2 instance. He was able to recover the old code, restore it, and rebuild it better. He did great work!
