Actually fix it. Slapping a workaround on top of a broken structure just means you're back here in two weeks with the same problem wearing a different face.

Can you fix a Webflow site someone else built, or does it have to be one I built?
Doesn't matter who built it. I work inside whatever's already there — I don't need to have built the original site to fix it.
