I've experienced wholesale from both sides of the order. For 8 years, I purchased inventory for a gift shop, evaluating products, pricing, minimums, merchandising, and which brands were worth the investment.
Today, I own a product based business and sell wholesale through Faire.
I use both perspectives to help businesses identify potential buying friction in their Faire shops and see their storefront through a retailer's eyes. My approach is practical, straightforward, and focused on making it easier for retailers to say yes.
