Brand Strategist & Communication Designer
Self Employed • Período integral
Oct 2023 - Present • 2 yrs 10 mos
With my own branding and design studio, marklting, I help businesses uncover what makes them valuable and turn it into a clear, authentic brand presence. I work with companies and founders who are passionate about what they do but often struggle to communicate their value in a way that truly resonates with their audience. My approach combines brand strategy, positioning, messaging, visual identity, web design, and marketing to create brands that are not only visually appealing but also meaningful and trustworthy. My clients come from different industries – from early intervention and special education practices to electronics developers and cybersecurity educators. While their fields may differ, they all share the same foundation: they create genuine value through their work. My role is to make that value visible, understandable, and relevant to the people they want to reach. When people truly understand what a brand stands for and how it can help them, trust grows naturally – and the right audience feels drawn to it.
Marketing Manager: Marketing, Communications & Strategy
Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft • Período integral
Oct 2019 - Aug 2023 • 3 yrs 10 mos
During my time at Fraunhofer EMFT, a German applied research institute in microelectronics and microsystems engineering, I worked as part of a small marketing team where versatility was essential. This gave me the opportunity to contribute across a wide range of disciplines – from strategic campaign development and creative direction to creating print and digital marketing materials, content creation, and event management, while ensuring consistent brand communication across all touchpoints. The variety of projects strengthened both my strategic thinking and my ability to execute ideas hands-on. Collaborating closely with engineers and researchers was one of the most rewarding parts of my role. I had the opportunity to immerse myself in fascinating fields of science and technology, understand the passion behind each innovation, and translate complex expertise into communication that resonates with different audiences. My role wasn't just to make complex topics easier to understand. It was about identifying what made them relevant and valuable for different audiences and bringing that value to life through clear messaging, meaningful visuals, and consistent communication. I truly learned how to turn technical expertise into understanding, interest, and trust. Working with limited budgets taught me to think creatively and find practical solutions. Whether it was building a partnership that gave us access to a location that would normally have been out of reach for a video production or finding effective ways to showcase our research at major trade fairs like the IAA, I learned how to achieve meaningful results with the resources available.
